UNLOCKING POTENTIAL and ENRICHING LIVES

Over 125 Years of Serving Our Community

Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC) is a community agency with over 125 years of serving the Buffalo community. BFNC has always been committed to providing programs and services that uplift and empower community members to create a pathway to their success. BFNC delivers comprehensive, coordinated, family focused human services to low-income and disadvantaged neighborhoods throughout Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Lockport, New York. BFNC’s strength in serving the community is based on integrating care coordination, housing, social rehabilitation, financial management, and other supportive services through our programs for youth, adults and seniors.
  • BFNC helped me reach my goals. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them helping me every step of the way.
    Karen Smith

  • The BFNC Clothing and Necessity Drives provide food and clothing items that our families need.

    Necessity Fair
  • For years the BFNC Moot Center has provided much needed socialization and programs for community seniors. The Annual Thanksgiving Dinner is a favorite!

A Neighborhood Fruits Video Series

Neighborhood Fruits is a video series that highlights the stories of The Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC) and the historic Buffalo NY Fruit Belt Neighborhood. The series involves raw and real conversations with Fruit Belt neighbors, BFNC staff and other community residents.

We define the gems – the neighbors of the Fruit Belt Neighborhood as the “Fruits” – the diverse legacy builders who continue to add to the history of this rich community and agency.
