The Community Health Educator is responsible for teaching youth ages 10-21 a health related best practice curriculum that addresses teen pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and sexually transmitted infections within community locations including Buffalo Public Schools, faith-based sites and community centers. Must be able to work respectfully and engagingly with young people, using a trauma-informed approach. Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field and one year of full-time experience in a recognized youth service agency or Bachelor’s Degree and two years of full-time experience with health education including teen pregnancy prevention, HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections.
Salary: Low to Mid 30s
