The Site Manager is responsible for overall client care and facility maintenance within assigned residence sites. Site Managers have primary responsibility for supervision of direct care staff and for development, implementation and review of Individual Service Plans. Assure that standards of housekeeping, maintenance, health, safety and general appearance of the residence are met; inspect facilities on a regular basis and report necessary repairs and equipment replacement in a timely manner. Assures that restorative services are provided to adults residing in an OMH licensed group home according to regulatory guidelines. Responsible for ensuring the electronic health records are accurate and up to date, while monitoring and documenting resident goal progress. Develop and maintain effective working relationships between and among residence staff and other service providers. Initiates emergency procedures when indicated, including utilization of police, Crisis Services and other emergency personnel, as appropriate. Plans and implements resident activities, in cooperation with residents and direct care staff. Direct menu planning, food shopping and meal preparation, in cooperation with residents and direct care staff
Assures necessary and appropriate coverage at all times Assign and coordinate daily tasks for subordinate staff, including but not limited to the areas of resident activities, nutrition, housekeeping and implementation of ISP goals. Complete written performance evaluations of subordinate staff in accordance with Agency policy. Provide ongoing feedback to subordinate staff regarding work performance; provide guidance to staff in identifying areas of substandard performance and in developing a plan for corrective action, where applicable.
Qualifications: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field plus one (1) year paid experience working with individuals with handicapping disabilities; or, Associate’s degree in Human Services plus three (3) years’ experience as above; or, High School diploma plus five (5) years’ experience as above AND have at least (1) one year of paid supervisory experience Must have a flexible schedule, NYS Driver’s license with evidence of good driving record and pass a criminal background check.
