Westminster Commons: Affordable Senior Housing
As the BFNC reimagines how services are provided to the community, we embrace the need for affordable housing for all residents.
In 2021, BFNC opened its first affordable housing community, Westminster Commons, that offers housing for older adults aged 55 and older.
Westminster Commons has 84 energy-efficient one- and two-bedroom apartments for adults aged 55 and older in a single, four-story elevator building. As an “Aging in Place” apartment community, residents have access to on-site supportive services provided at the nearby Westminster Community House. Services include case management, benefits advocacy, financial management, job skills training, and access to medical care.
