THE HISTORY

Our Senior Services were birthed out of the need to fill a gap for retired seniors who desired a program to keep active and contribute to the community. The initial Home of our Senior Programming was the Moot Senior Center located on High Street in the heart of Buffalo’s Fruit Belt community. The founding seniors affectionately referred to themselves as “Mooters.”
