BFNC’s Holiday Gifts to Community Members

Every FALL BFNC Staff is busy preparing to host community guests for two events – Thanksgiving Luncheon for Seniors and Brunch with Santa (Holiday event for single-parent families)

BOTH EVENTS ARE AT CAPACITY: We are glad to see the response and hope each guest has a pleasant experience.

DONATIONS ARE STILL ACCEPTED TO HELP MAKE SURE OUR SENIORS ARE PROVIDED EXCELLENT GIFTS. 

 

 

I. Thursday, November 21 – The Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC) invites Community Seniors who have registered to the annual Thanksgiving Luncheon for Seniors.

Location: BFNC MOOT CENTER

Guests will enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal, musical performance by Vibrant Strings, Thanksgiving Raffle, and social time with community members and BFNC staff.

 

II. Saturday, December 21, is the annual Brunch with Santa. Brunch with Santa (a Sold-out event) is the agency’s gift to single-parent families. It includes family activities, raffle items, a delicious catered Brunch served by community volunteers, story time with Kente Claus, photos, and holiday gifts for attending and registered family members (parents and children).

This year, the event will be hosted in the event room in the new BFNC’s Administration building.

BFNC Hosts “Dancing in the Street” Community Fest

Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers HOST “DANCING IN THE STREET” A COMMUNITY FEST THAT FOCUS ON UPLIFTING COMMUNITY AND PROVIDING ACCESS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES

WHAT: Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers will host a Community Festival for Individuals and Families, Saturday, August 5, 2023. “DANCING IN THE STREET” was created to provide community members with a hand up and resonating messages of hope and resilience. Attendees of All ages are invited to enjoy a day of activities, music, dancing, Free food choices (while supplies last), community service vendors, Free Haircuts, A Dental POP-UP screening Clinic and Time to relax and enjoy neighbors.
“Music is known to bring people together, we are excited to host another Community Fest to provide a day of fun and service connection.”, stated Chandra Redfern, BFNC CEO.
