BFNC: SUPPORTING COMMUNITY! Health & Wellness Fair Friday August 22!
The Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC) believes that, as a good community neighbor, a focus on assisting community members remains a mission.
“Our community outreach team alerts us to the needs. BFNC continues to focus on how the agency can help residents overcome life obstacles,” stated Chandra Redfern, BFNC CEO.
Redfern added, “BFNC will continue to serve the needs of community members through our services and programs.”
BFNC’s upcoming programs are designed to help fill some of the needs of community members. The Community is invited to:
•The BFNC Weekly Food Pantry – Opened Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 1:00 pm BFNC Neighborhood House 76 Orange Street
•The monthly “Mommy Matters” Dinner and Conversations evenings. The next one is on August 18th.
•August 22 is the Community Health and Wellness Fair at 2365 Main St. – Activities that provide a guide and uplift Community Members including live music, wellness information, health screenings, free food, backpack giveaway and more!
•September 15- A YOUTH CONVERSATION with Presentation at the BFNC Moot Center- Registration Required. PLEASE CALL 716-852-5065 EXT. 100.
•September 27- A “Mommy Matters” luncheon for mothers and their children – 11:00 am -2:00 p.m.- Registration Required
•October 3rd – Attend the annual Fall Fest@ at 76 Orange St. – A community event that celebrates community. Various activities, delicious food (while supplies last), and music.
